Welcome to GameTimeCT Athlete of the Week where we seek to honor student-athletes across Connecticut each week during high school sports seasons. Each week, GameTimeCT staff will nominate five athletes competing in high school men’s sports and five competing in women’s sports as finalists. Vote for your favorite high school athlete at www.ctinsider.com/gametimect from Tuesday of each week until 11:59 p.m. (ET) Thursday by clicking the “vote” button under an athlete’s name and follow the instructions to complete the voting process, including entering a valid email address and clicking the submit button. Votes will be counted the following morning and on or about Friday at 12:00 p.m., the male and female student with the most votes becomes an Athlete of the Week and will be announced on www.ctinsider.com. Online entries may be subject to standard internet connection charges. Limit (1) one voting entry per day per household.

The use of any device to automate a vote is prohibited, including but not limited to software generated, robotic, programmed, scripted, macro or other automated votes. CTInsider.com reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual (and remove any votes from such individual) that it suspects or finds: (i) to have used any generated, robotic, programmed, script, macro or other automated online entry system; (ii) tampering with the voting process; (iii) act in violation of these Voting Rules; or (iv) act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CTInsider.com reserves the right to remove votes at its sole discretion. CTInsider.com reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any nominated athlete who is the recipient of votes that CTInsider.com suspects or finds to be in violation of these Voting Rules.

If for any reason any aspect of this voting process is unable to perform as expected, including computer virus infection, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, malfunctions or technical or system disruptions, acts of God or terrorist attacks, or any other cause beyond CTInsider.com’s control that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or good conduct of the voting process or for any reason CTInsider.com deems necessary, CTInsider.com reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify the voting process and reserves the right, at its sole discretion to determine the winner(s).

You participate in this voting process at your own risk. CTInsider.com, Hearst Connecticut Media Group, and their respective parent companies, affiliates, related companies, sponsors, subsidiaries and advertising agencies, and any entities associated with this voting process (“Released Parties”) are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) difficulty in accessing telecommunications systems; (ii) transmission errors; (iii) interruption or delay in service or for any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or line, computer online system, server or provider, computer equipment, software, e-mail or player failure due to any technical problem or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof: (iv) any incomplete, lost, late, delayed, misdirected or garbled ballots or lack thereof; (v) injury or damage to you or anyone else’s computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any material or software, or attempting to participate in or download any material or software related to this voting process. The Released Parties are not responsible and shall not be liable for: (i) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Released Parties which may disrupt or corrupt voting; (ii) typographical or other errors in the printing, offering or administration of the Voting Rules; or (iii) any error in the announcement of the potential winner(s).
