Global Blockchain, Crypto Leaders To Participate In Fourth Blockchain Stampede At UW

CASPER, Wyoming – U.S. Senator from Wyoming Cynthia Lummis will be among the presenters for the fourth Wyoming Blockchain Stampede September 21-26 at the University of Wyoming.

UW said Thursday that “a global community of developers, entrepreneurs, legal experts, lawmakers, researchers, educators and students” will participate in the event, which will be broadcast live to audiences around the world.

Other keynote speakers will be Caitlin Long, CEO of Avanti Bank to Cheyenne Charles Hoskinson, founder of the Cardano blockchain platform.

Governor Mark Gordon’s newly appointed standing select committee on blockchain, financial technology and digital innovation technology will hold a public meeting to draft legislation and gather feedback from stakeholders.

Other topics under discussion will include DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) and the impact of new Wyoming laws on blockchain and crypto businesses. The Wyohackathon the competition will include various challenges surrounding the field of blockchain technologies.

September 23 – The Stampede Business Conference features a day of speakers and workshops that will help attendees understand Wyoming’s legislative environment, use cases, practical applications, and business opportunities presented by digital technologies, such as the blockchain.

September 23 – The Stampede Law Conference will examine new Wyoming laws that impact blockchain and crypto businesses and help shape the ecosystem.

September 24 – DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) Day will feature speakers and workshops to help attendees understand what DAOs are and why DAOs could change the way businesses, communities, and other groups are fundamentally organized.

September 24 – Future Forward is a day of speakers and panel discussions on initiatives that will foster positive economic development for future generations.

September 24-26 – The Wyohackathon is a competition involving various challenges in the field of blockchain technologies.
