SAFC First Nations Screens Working Group Meeting

Are you a South Australian First Nations screen maker? Do you want to get more involved in the South Australian screen industry and meet other First Nations practitioners?

Come and meet the members of the SAFC First Nations Screening Working GroupNew Pauline Clague, SAFC First Nations Screen Strategy Director, Nara Wilson, SAFC First Nations Industry Development Director and network with other First Nations screen makers on this special evening.

The SAFC First Nations Screens Task Force aims to strengthen direct engagement between the First Nations screens sector in South Australia and the SAFC, and to ensure a strong First Nations voice in the future of programming screens in South Australia. Meeting quarterly, the FNSWG assists the SAFC in activating and maintaining engagement with the First Nations screen sector in South Australia, and assists SAFC First Nations programming and planning by providing advice, comments and suggestions.

All South Australian First Nations screen makers are welcome to join this formal working group meeting. Learn more about how the SAFC is supporting the First Nations screen sector in our First Nations Screen Strategy.

PLEASE NOTE: Numbers for this event are strictly limited due to COVID-19 restrictions. Registration for this event is on a first come basis.

Time: 5:15 p.m. for a 5:30 p.m. departure, meeting until 6:30 p.m.

Site: SAFC John Chataway Boardroom, Adelaide Studios, 1 Mulberry Road, Glenside. A Zoom link will be available for practitioners unable to physically attend who wish to join the meeting online. Please contact Nara Wilson for more information at [email protected]

Registration: RSVPs are essential and must be made by Tuesday, February 15 – click the button below. By registering to attend this meeting, you are confirming that you identify as a First Nations person (Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander).
